What is the user language setting used for? Where is it changed?

The language setting affects:

  • the displayed language for a user
  • all system emails sent to contacts or leads by a user
  • users can change their language setting at any time
  • admin may also change this for a user

Users can change their Language on the User Information page under the Locale tab

  1. Sign in
  2. Click on your name at the top of the page
  3. The User Dropdown menu will appear. Click on the Settings button
  4. The Settings Page will appear. Click on User Information under Personal Settings

Admins can change the Language for a user on the Edit User page under the Locale tab

  1. Sign in
  2. Click on the Settings button, located in the User Dropdown located in the header of every page
  3. The Users Dashboard is located in the Users & Permissions Settings section of the Settings page
  4. Locate the User
  5. Click the dropdown for the user, then the EDIT USER button
