What is the Sales Board?

The Sales Board helps you track your sales opportunities like real cards on a poster board

Each column is a milestone/stage in your opportunity pipeline. Each column has a total of all the sales opportunities at that milestone according to your loaded view.

Each deal (sales opportunity) is represented by a card that contains:

    • the opportunity name
    • the amount of the potential deal
    • the expected close date

Hover over a card for additional information:

  • Person icon to see the contact name
  • Building icon to see the organization name

 

You can grab any card to move it to any milestone/phase.

The record will be updated accordingly. Your column totals will update, too.

How can I filter which opportunities show on my sales board?

Use your Views button, which is located at the top of the board.

Create and save new views to filter the records on the board according to your needs.

How do I get to my Sales Board?
  1. Open the left navigation menu on the top left of any CRM page.
  2. Click on Opportunities to get to your Opportunities listing page.
  3. Click on the three vertical lines button at the top of the listing page.

How do I remove specific milestones?

If there are too many or not enough milestones you can edit them, see steps below.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Then scroll down to customization, and click on Fields.
  3. Click on the dropdown menu and select Show:Opportunities.
  4. Scroll down and locate Milestone (stage) and click on the Edit option.

To add a new Milestone, enter a new name in the Pick List Values section. 

Then click on the +Add button.

You can move the new milestone to a new spot or save by clicking on the check mark.

To remove a milestone, click on the trash icon and then save by clicking the check mark.
