How can I make sure my Benchmark Email unsubscribes also opt-out my CRM contacts & leads?

The integration between Benchmark CRM and Benchmark Email is a two way integration. The opt-out or unsubscribe details are synced between Benchmark CRM and Benchmark Email platform.

Opt-out field sync from Benchmark Email to Benchmark CRM

As a Benchmark Email user, if one of your contacts is marked as an Unsubscribe in your account, and your account is synced with the Benchmark CRM through API integration.  The unsubscribed email address will also be listed as an Opt-out in your Benchmark CRM Account.

The same process happens in the Benchmark CRM if someone is marked as opt-out, they will be automatically marked as Unsubscribed in your Benchmark Email account.
